Pandhariprasad Sugar Industries Limited might sound like a big name, but we are just a group of people working on the sugar side of things. Being in a tower means we spend a lot of time in elevators and looking out windows instead of being in the fields ourselves. Most of our day is spent on the phone or looking at spreadsheets about sugar cane prices and factory schedules. It gets a bit repetitive, sitting at a desk, but the work is important for the mills. We coordinate where the cane goes and how much is being processed. The office is usually full of papers and half-empty tea cups. We try to keep things organized, but during the peak season, it gets a bit chaotic. Everyone is talking at once and the phones don't stop ringing. Mohali is a busy place, and being in the 160059 area means there's always traffic outside. We don't have a fancy reception or anything, just some desks and people working hard to make sure the sugar gets moved. It’s a lot of logistics and dealing with the transport guys. We just do our bit to keep the wheels turning. It's not glamorous, but it's what we know how to do. The days go by fast when you are busy.
