Krishiavtar Dairy Farms Private Limited

Krishiavtar Dairy Farms is run by a few of us here in Zirakpur. We started this because we knew a bit about cows and milk from back home. Now we have this spot at SF Tower-A in Mona Greens. It’s a bit of a mix, having a dairy business based near these residential towers, but it works for us. Mohali is growing so fast, so things are always changing around here. We spend most mornings early with the animals. It’s a lot of cleaning and making sure the feed is right. People always want fresh stuff, so we try to keep up with that. It's just a regular small business. We don't have some big staff or anything. Usually, it's just one or two of us handling the paperwork and the rest out at the farm site. Zirakpur is busy, lots of traffic all the time on the way to Chandigarh. Sometimes the trucks get delayed, and it's a bit of a headache. But that's just how it is. We’ve been at this for a little while now. We just want to make sure the quality is okay and the cows are healthy. It's a lot of physical labor, and your hands get dirty, but it feels like honest work. We don't do much advertising. Most people just find us through word of mouth or seeing our name around the neighborhood. It is a tough business but we like it well enough and it keeps us going every day.
