New Hisar Vegetables Farmers Producer Company Limited

Out in Kharar Alipur, we have been growing vegetables for a long time, through good years and bad ones. Now we call ourselves New Hisar Vegetables Farmers Producer Company Limited so we can work as one group instead of being all over the place. Our office is just at number 166 in Block 3. It’s a practical setup, nothing too fancy, just a place to get the vegetable growers together in one room. In Hisar, we know the soil well and we know what grows best when the heat kicks in during the summer months. We have everything from green leafy stuff to the harder vegetables that last longer on the shelf. Managing a company is different from just farming, there’s a lot more talking and writing things down than we used to do in the old days. But it helps when we go to the market because we are stronger together. The block 3 location is where we handle the books and meet after the morning harvest is done and the crates are loaded. Most of us have been in these fields since we were kids, so we know the struggles of a bad rain or a pest problem showing up. We aren't trying to be some big corporate entity, we are just the same farmers from Kharar Alipur trying to get a fair shake for our produce. It’s about making sure the vegetables we grow get to where they need to go without too much trouble for the growers.
