A.D.C Health Foods Producer Company Limited is situated at Shop No.165 in the Grain Market of Bhucho Mandi. Being in the market means we are right in the middle of all the action in Bathinda. It is a loud place especially during the procurement season when the tractors are everywhere. You can barely hear yourself speak sometimes with all the shouting and the engines running. Our shop is one of many but we focus specifically on health foods and agro products. The walls are lined with samples and there is always some dust from the grain flying around. We spend a lot of time on our feet talking to suppliers and buyers. It is not the kind of place where you sit in an air-conditioned room all day. We are out there in the heat or the cold depending on the month. The floor is usually covered in some bit of grain or dirt but that is the reality of working in a mandi. We handle the records for our producer company and make sure the health food side of things is handled properly. It is a busy life in Bhucho and we don't have time for anything that isn't practical. People come to us because they know we are right there in the thick of it with them. We just try to keep things moving and make sure the goods get to where they need to go without too much delay or hassle.
