If you’re looking for us, we are located in Sangli, right over at S.No.380/2. We share space with the Sane Guruji Sah Grah Nirma community. It’s a local setup, nothing too fancy. We’ve been focusing on agrocare for some time now because that’s what this area is all about. Agriculture is the backbone of Sangli and we just wanted to be a part of that. Savita Annasaheb Baravka helps keep things organized here. Our days are filled with talking to farmers and looking at what crops need. It isn’t always glamorous work. There is a lot of dust and long drives to different plots of land. We spend a lot of time discussing fertilizers, pests, and how the season is looking. Some years are better than others, depending on the monsoon. We don't have a big corporate philosophy or anything like that. We just show up, do the work, and try to help the plants grow better. The office is usually cluttered with samples and notebooks. It’s a bit messy but we know where everything is. We prefer it this way because it feels real. We aren't sitting in an air-conditioned tower in a big city. We are right here in the dirt with everyone else. Sometimes the paperwork gets behind because we’d rather be outside. That’s just how it goes when you’re dealing with the land. It’s honest work and we plan to keep doing it for a long time.
