If you find yourself in Sangli, near the Kalanagar area, you might pass by Shivamvilla at 211/1A/34. That is where we run Earthgreen Agrotech Private Limited. We are right opposite Balaji Auto Garage, which is a good landmark because everyone knows where that is. You can usually hear the sound of tools clanking from the garage while we are working inside. Our place is part of the Shrusti building, tucked away in a spot called Dipyan. It is a quiet neighborhood for the most part, except for the morning traffic. We started this because we wanted to stay in Sangli and work on things related to the land. It is not a huge operation with hundreds of employees. It is just a few of us in a small room, trying to make things work. The walls are a bit plain, and we have too many papers piled up on the desks. We drink a lot of tea to stay focused throughout the afternoon. The weather gets really hot here in the summer, so the fan is always running. We know most of the people on this street by name. It is just a local business trying to stay steady. We do our own paperwork and handle the daily chores ourselves. There is nothing fancy about how we operate, just honest work every single day in our little corner of Sangli. It's not perfect but it is ours.
