It started out as a small project and grew into what it is today. We spend most of our time out on the farm land, dealing with the daily chores that come with growing things in Maharashtra. The heat can be a lot, but the soil here is good if you treat it right. We aren't big on fancy talk or complicated business plans. We just focus on the crops and making sure everything is watered and tended to. Sometimes the rain doesn't come when we need it, so we have to manage with what we've got. The team is small, mostly family and a few local hands who know the Islampur area well. We’ve lived around Sangli for a long time, so we know the cycles of the seasons. It’s a quiet life for the most part, excluding the busy harvest weeks. We keep the records in a small office at the colony, but you’ll usually find us outside. There’s always a fence to fix or a field to check. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. Just a bunch of people working the land and trying to do a fair job of it every day. It's simple, honest work that keeps us busy from sunrise to sunset. We just hope for good yields.
