At Ward No 6 in Rosera, we set up Lal Bihari Farmer Producer Companylimited. We are based in Sahiayr Dih. We are a small group of local people who decided to put our names together to form this producer company. Rosera is our home, and most of us have never lived anywhere else. The name Lal Bihari is a common one around here, and it feels like it belongs to the people. We don't have a big corporate office or a fleet of trucks. Most of our work is done right there in the village, talking across fences or meeting at the house mentioned in our address. We are still figuring out how to run a company properly. It’s a lot of learning as we go. Some days we feel like we are getting somewhere, and other days it’s just a lot of chores and not enough time. We are practical people who care about our crops and our livestock. We don't use any fancy language to talk about our work because we aren't trying to sell anything to people who don't know us. We are just here for the farmers of Sahiayr Dih. If you come looking for us, look for Ward 6. You’ll find us there, probably working or planning for the next season. It is a simple life, and the company is just a tool to help us keep it going.
