Babakhundneshwer Farmer Producer Company Limited

We started Babakhundneshwer Farmer Producer Company Limited right here in the Morwa block. It is basically a group of us from the village area in Samastipur coming together to handle our crops better. You can find us over at Raj Kumar Singh’s place in the village. Most people around here know where that is. We are not some big city office with fancy desks. It is just a few of us working out of this spot in Bihar. The zip code is 848122 if you are trying to mail something. Things are pretty quiet around here but we stay busy with the fields. Sometimes the weather makes it hard, but that is just how farming goes in Samastipur. We deal with what we have. It is mostly about getting the local produce moved so it does not just sit around. Everyone knows everyone in the village, so we just talk and figure out what needs doing for the season. We don't have a big staff or anything like that. Just some local guys trying to make things work for the farmers in this part of Morwa. It is a lot of work and sometimes we get things wrong, but we keep at it day by day. If you come by, you will likely see us just sitting and talking about the harvest. It is simple stuff really. We just wanted a way for the folks in Samastipur to have a bit more say in where their stuff goes.
