Jagadishpur Farmers Producer Companylimited is run out of Binal Devi’s house in Harpur Jairam. We are in the Rupnaraynpur Bela area, which is part of the Samastipur block. It’s a lively neighborhood and Binal Devi’s place is usually the center of all our activity. We are all farmers from around here who decided it was time to join up. Samastipur is a great place for farming, but it takes a lot of effort to get things right. We spend our days checking on the fields and our evenings talking at the house. It isn't a corporate setup at all. We have kids running around and dogs barking while we try to figure out the company accounts. It’s a bit chaotic, but it’s real. We don't have any polished speeches or big promises. We just want to work the land and see a fair return for it. Harpur Jairam is a place where everyone helps out when someone’s tractor breaks down. That’s the spirit we try to keep in our company. We are just a bunch of local folks trying to navigate the world of business without losing our roots. It’s hard work and the days are long, but we wouldn't have it any other way. We are just Jagadishpur farmers, through and through, doing our thing in our own little corner of the world.
