You can find us in Ali Sarai, also known as Hasanpur Sarai, within the Machhani panchayat. We operate out of Uma Shankar Prasad’s place. The focus here is on seeds, which is why we put that in the name. Seeds are the start of everything for a farmer, so we take them pretty seriously. But we aren't some massive laboratory or a giant corporation. We are just local people who understand what grows well in this specific dirt. Uma Shankar has been around a long time and knows most of the families in the block. We spend a lot of time just checking the quality of what we have and talking to the people who buy from us. It is a straightforward business without any hidden layers. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to do everything by hand or with flashlights. That is just life in the village. We don't have a website with glossy photos or anything like that. If you want to know about us, you usually just come by and have a chat. We talk about the weather, the harvest, and what kind of seeds will work for the next planting. It’s a bit of a slow process, but we like it that way. We aren't in a hurry to become some huge entity. We just want to provide what the local farmers need and make sure our own families are taken care of. It is honest work for honest people.
