Tnathoor Women Fed Food Processing Farmer Producer Company Limited is based out of No.1A1 in Narayanapuram Village. We are right in the Attur area of Salem, which is a place where everyone seems to know everyone else. Our group is made up of women from the village who work on processing food. It could be anything from drying grains to grinding spices, depending on what the farmers bring us. We have a small building where we set up our equipment and get to work every morning. It gets noisy and dusty sometimes, but we don't mind. We aren't a big brand you see on TV; we are just local women trying to earn a living. The village of Narayanapuram is our home, and we like that our work stays here. We don't have a lot of rules, just that everyone does their share and we keep things clean. Salem is known for its agriculture, so there is always something to do. Being a producer company means we share the work and the results. We’ve had to learn a lot as we went along, like how to manage the books and keep the machines running. It’s not always smooth, but we've managed to keep things going at 636141. We just focus on the task in front of us and try to make sure the food is handled right. Every season brings something new for us to do.
