About Parmar Rajendrasinh – Agriculture & Farming in Salem
I am Parmar Rajendrasinh and my place is at No. 2/64, Kudi Street in Thathamangalam. This is a small village area, and the business is run right from where I live. It’s not like a city office with glass windows and air conditioning. It is just a regular house with a dedicated space for work. Thathamangalam is a quiet place where everyone knows each other. I deal mostly with local agricultural matters and some trading. People come by the house when they have something to discuss or a deal to make. We sit on the porch or in the front room and talk things over. There are no fancy brochures or marketing materials here. I just keep my records in a few notebooks. The street outside is narrow and mostly has tractors or cows passing by. It’s a very simple life and the work follows the seasons. When it’s harvest time, I am busy from dawn until late at night. Other times, it is a bit slower. I don't have a big staff, maybe just one person to help with the heavy stuff or the errands. It’s about being part of the community here. I’ve lived here all my life and people trust me because they know my family. It’s practical, everyday work that keeps the wheels turning in our small village. We don't need much more than that to get by. I plan to keep doing this for many more years as long as my health allows it. It is what I know best.
