Sri Selvakumar Traders

We are located on the second floor of Raj Bhavan. Our room number is 204. The building is on Subramaniya Swamy Koil Street in the Fairlands neighborhood. It is a very busy street, especially because of the temple nearby. There is always the sound of bells and people talking outside our windows. We are traders at Sri Selvakumar Traders, so we deal with a variety of goods that come in and out. The office is not very big, just enough space for a few desks and a lot of ledgers. We have been in this spot for several years. We know most of the other shopkeepers and business people in the building. It is a friendly atmosphere. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who handle the orders and the deliveries. Sometimes the stairs up to the second floor feel a bit steep when we are carrying heavy boxes, but we are used to it by now. We spend a lot of time checking the stock and making sure the numbers match up in our books. It is regular, honest work. We don't use any complicated systems, just pen and paper for the most part. Fairlands is a good place to be because everything we need is close by. We just open up in the morning, do our trading, and close when the street starts to get quiet in the evening. Most of our customers have been coming to us for years.
