Tharamangalam Women Farmer Producer Company Limited

We are a group of women here in Tharamangalam who decided to start this company together. Most of us have been working in the fields since we were kids, following what our parents did before us. Our office is right on the Nangavalli Main Road, specifically at 17-6/120 in New Teachers Street. It is a busy spot but it works for us. We spend most of our days dealing with crops and figuring out how to get everything from the soil to the market without losing too much value. It isn't easy work, and sometimes the weather doesn't help us at all, but having this company helps us stay organized. Omalur is a place where everyone knows everyone, so we often have people dropping by the office just to chat or check on the progress of certain harvests. We don't have any fancy furniture or anything like that, just some chairs and our records. The main thing is that we are women from the local farms trying to make things a bit more stable for our homes. We focus on what grows well in our soil here. Some days are just long and involve a lot of paperwork that we aren't used to, but we get through it together. Tharamangalam Women Farmer Producer Company Limited is basically just us, the local ladies, working the land and trying to be smart about how we sell what we grow. It is a simple setup but it is ours.
