Quality Fly Ash Bricks

Our place is at 49, Omalur Main Road in Chellapillaikuttai. It’s a busy stretch of road, so there’s always something happening outside the gate. We focus on fly ash bricks because that’s what everyone is asking for these days around here. The yard is usually covered in a fine grey dust, which is just part of the job when you work with fly ash. We have these machines that press the mixture into shapes, and they make a steady thumping sound all through the morning. It’s not quiet, but we’re used to it. My brother handles the machine side of things while I mostly look after the loading. We get a lot of trucks coming in from the main road, and it can be a bit of a squeeze to get them parked right. We don’t have a fancy showroom. It’s just the bricks sitting out there in the open air, drying and waiting. People come by and just point at the piles they want. We talk about the weather a lot because too much rain messes with the drying process. That’s just how it goes with this kind of work. Chellapillaikuttai is a decent place to be, and we know the other shop owners along Omalur Main Road pretty well. We just keep our heads down and try to get the bricks out on time. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from dawn till dusk. We usually eat our lunch together in the small shade we set up.
