A K Bricks

If you find yourself near the S B I Colony Bus Stop on the Kovai Byepass Road, you will probably see our place. We are at number 62 in Highway Nagar, right there in the Salem Extension area of Kasakanur. It is a busy location with plenty of vehicles zooming past on the bypass. We have been operating A K Bricks from this spot for some time now. The yard stays pretty cluttered with stacks of bricks waiting to be hauled off to various construction sites around Salem. It is a physical job, no doubt about it. We spend our hours loading trucks, counting out pallets, and making sure the yard stays somewhat organized despite the constant movement. Sometimes the weather doesn't cooperate and we are out there in the rain trying to cover things up, or under the blistering sun wishing for a bit of a breeze. We do not use any fancy language to describe what we do. We just sell bricks to people who need them for their homes or walls. Most of our customers are locals who know us by name, or drivers who have been stopping here for years. We do not have a big fancy sign or a reception desk. You just come in, find one of us near the piles, and we get to work on your order. It is a straightforward way to spend the day, and while it is tiring, it feels good to be part of the local building scene.
