We are situated at No 5/7 A in Padmavathy Colony, which is in the Suramangalam area of Salem. Being near the Thyagaraja Polytechnic means we see a lot of students and faculty around the neighborhood. It’s a fairly quiet colony compared to the center of the city. Our workspace is part of a residential-style building. We have set up our desks in the main front room. It has a lot of natural light coming in during the morning hours. We keep our supplies in some old wooden cupboards in the hallway. There is a small garden patch outside the front door that we try to keep tidy, though the Salem heat makes it hard for the plants sometimes. Inside, it’s just a regular office setup with computers and plenty of pens. We don't have any corporate branding on the walls. It is a very casual environment. We often hear the birds in the trees nearby when the traffic dies down. The walk to the main road is about five minutes. We usually eat our lunch at the desks while catching up on the news. It’s a practical place to work without many distractions. We have made this our base for quite a few years now and the neighbors know us. The gate squeaks a little when you open it, but we haven't gotten around to oiling it yet. It’s just our little corner where we get things done. We mostly use simple ledgers for everything.
