Rapport Info Tech

Rapport Info Tech is situated at Number 9/3 in Ward Number 11, right on the Mettur Main Road in Omalur. We are directly opposite the Taluk Office, so there are always crowds of people and plenty of vehicles outside our door. Being in Salem, specifically the 636455 area, means it can get very dusty and loud with the traffic. Our shop is where we handle computer repairs and other tech stuff. It’s a long, narrow space with workbenches lined up against the walls. There are usually a few dismantled laptops and a bunch of tangled cables laying around. We don't have a fancy waiting room, just a couple of plastic stools for people who are waiting for a quick fix. The Taluk Office across the street brings in a lot of people who need help with their devices or just have questions about their electronics. We keep the air conditioner running as much as we can, but with people coming in and out, the heat usually wins. Most days are spent hunched over a circuit board or talking to customers about why their machines aren't working. It is a basic setup, but we have all the tools we need right where we can reach them. Omalur is a small town, so we end up seeing the same customers every few months. We just focus on the work at hand and try to keep up with the steady flow of people from the main road.
