Niwad Farmers Producer Company Limited is based in Salem, specifically in the Kannankurichi area. We are located at Chinnakollapatti, No: 1/193A on Jeeva Street. Salem is a place where people really understand the value of hard work and farming. Our office on Jeeva Street is just a regular building where we get together to manage the company. We are a group of farmers who decided to work as one. It’s not always easy, and there’s plenty of talk and disagreement sometimes, but that’s how it goes when everyone cares about the outcome. The street is usually quiet, which is nice when we need to sit down and figure out our plans for the season. We don't have any polished sales pitches or anything. We just talk about the crops and the market like anyone else would. Most of us have been in Chinnakollapatti for most of our lives, so we know the people around here well. When someone comes by the office, they usually get a cup of tea and a straight answer about what’s happening with the produce. It’s a very local operation. We spend our days making sure the farmers in our group are getting what they need. It’s a lot of coordination and simple math. We just want to keep the farms running and make sure the work gets done without too much trouble. It is just everyday business for us.
