We are located at No.20, Iabc on the Mecheri Omalur Road. Our office is in Olaipatti Village, under the Chinthamaniyur Post. We are a consortium, which basically means a bunch of us farmer groups decided to work together. It makes things a bit easier when you’re trying to deal with the big markets. Mecheri Omalur Road is always busy with trucks and buses, so our location is pretty easy to find. We aren't a big corporation with lots of money. We are just a group of locals trying to help each other out. The office is a simple place where we keep our records and hold our meetings. Usually, there’s someone there making tea and talking about the latest farming news. We don't have any big mission statements or marketing talk. We just focus on the practical side of things, like how to get the crops moved from the village to the buyers. Olaipatti is a small place, and most of us have lived here our whole lives. We know the people and we know the land. We aren't trying to be anything flashy. We just want to keep the farming community around Chinthamaniyur strong and healthy. It takes a lot of time and effort to coordinate everyone, but we think it’s worth it in the end. It’s just us doing what we can with what we have and we stay busy.
