Our location is No 1/92 H-2 in Kurichi, which is part of Salem. It’s out in the Mohan Nagar area, specifically near the Maramangalathupatti Post. People usually look for Kurunji Nagar to find the right turn. It is a bit of a drive from the main city center, but we like the space we have here. The building is simple and we have been here for a good amount of time now. Usually, the mornings are quiet until the postman comes by or some neighbors stop to chat for a minute. We have a lot of gear stored in the back rooms, and things can get a bit cluttered when we are preparing for something. It’s just how it goes when you’re busy. We don’t have a fancy sign or anything, just our name on the door. Inside, the fans are always running because Salem gets quite hot during the day. Most of our work involves checking equipment and making sure everything is packed right in the vans. Sometimes we are out for days at a time, so the office stays shut, but there is usually someone around to check on things. It’s a basic operation but it’s ours. We drink a lot of coffee while we sit at the small table in the front room discussing what needs to happen for the week. It’s not a corporate vibe at all, just a few of us trying to keep things moving.
