Our spot is in DS Mansion, right near the New Bus Stand in Veerapandiyur Nagar, Salem. Being so close to the bus stand means there is always noise and people moving about, which actually fits the kind of work we do. Music is loud and energetic, so we don't mind the bustle of Salem at all. We’ve been practicing and organizing here for a long time. The building itself is simple, and our room is filled with instruments, speakers, and chairs. It’s not a polished studio with soundproofing on every inch; it’s a working space where we rehearse our sets. Most of the people who play with us have been doing this for years. We aren't a big corporate entity; we are just a group of musicians who like to perform. You can often hear us from the street when we are getting ready for a show. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing department. Usually, people just hear us at a wedding or a festival and then ask for our number. Being in Veerapandiyur Nagar is great because it’s easy for the band members to get here from different parts of the city. We keep our gear in the mansion and head out whenever there’s a call. It’s a simple life, but it keeps us busy and we enjoy the music. We just focus on getting the notes right every single time.
