Our office for Best Nilamagal Farmer Producer Companylimited is at 6/185 in Malaiyampalayam. We are located near the K V Jalagandapuram Post in the Mettur Taluk area. Mettur is known for the dam and all the water, but we are a bit further out in the village area. Being a farmer producer company means we spend a lot of time thinking about the soil and the rain. The building we work out of is quite modest. It’s just a place to store some records and have meetings when we need to. There are usually some bags or tools leaning against the wall. We don't have a janitor or a maintenance crew, so we just clean up after ourselves. The roads around Mettur Taluk can be a bit bumpy, especially after it rains, but we are used to it by now. We don't go around saying we are the best at anything, even if the name says Best. That is just the name on the registration papers. In reality, we are just a group of local folks trying to get the best out of our farms. We share what we know and help each other out with the logistics of selling what we grow. It’s not a glamorous job, but it is what we know. We just take things as they come and try to stay busy.
