Gobindgarh Farmer Producer Company Limited

In the village of Gobindgarh, near Dachaur in Karnal, you’ll find the Gobindgarh Farmer Producer Company Limited. We are based at Balvinder Singh’s place. It’s a small, local thing we’ve got going on. There are two Gobindgarhs around here, so you have to make sure you’re in the one near Dachaur. We are just a group of farmers who decided it was better to do things together than alone. We don't have a fancy website or a big staff. It's mostly just Balvinder and a few of the rest of us handling the paperwork and the planning. The office is really just a room with a few chairs and some registers. Most of our time is spent out in the fields anyway, so the office stays empty half the time. We talk about things like crop prices and fertilizer while we're out working. It’s a tough life sometimes, especially when the rains don't come when they should. But we’ve lived here all our lives, so we’re used to it. We don't use big words or try to sound like we’re from the city. We’re just village people doing what our fathers and grandfathers did, just with a company name now. If you want to find us, just head towards Dachaur and ask for Balvinder Singh. We’re usually around somewhere, either at the house or in the fields.
