About Scientific Agriculture Laboratory – Agriculture & Farming in Rohtak
This lab is located at House No 750 in Salara Mohalla. We are right near the Ram Krishna Dharmashalla in Rohtak. It’s a brick building and we’ve converted part of it into a testing area. We work with farmers and people from the local agriculture departments. We spend our days looking at soil samples, checking seeds, and testing different things to see why crops might not be growing well. The place usually has a bit of an earthy smell because of all the dirt samples we keep in the back. We have some glass tubes, a few old microscopes, and some weighing scales. It’s not a high-tech facility like you might see in a movie. It’s practical. Everything we have is used every day. We write our reports by hand mostly and then type them up later if we have to. The neighbors are used to us by now. Sometimes farmers just walk in with a handful of grain to ask us a question. We don't have a fancy waiting room, so they usually just sit on the bench outside. It’s honest work and it feels important because food is important. Rohtak is a good place for this kind of thing. We just keep our heads down and do the testing as accurately as we can with what we have. There isn't much else to say about it. It’s just what we do here every single day.
