Baba Brahmchari Farmer Producer Company Limited

Our group is located at house number 634 in Dhanana. It’s a quiet part of the village, but there is always something going on with the crops. We named it Baba Brahmchari Farmer Producer Company Limited because of the local history and respect we have for the traditions here. There are several of us involved, all from families who have been farming this land for generations. We realized that if we pooled our resources, we could handle the buying and selling part of farming a lot better. It’s not easy work, and sometimes we argue about which crops to focus on, but in the end, we are all neighbors. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll probably find one of us in the yard or out in the back fields. We try to help the smaller farmers in Ghanghas whenever they run into trouble with their equipment. It’s a practical way to live. We don't use big words or fancy business talk. We just know the soil and what it takes to get things to grow. Every season brings a new set of problems, but having the company helps us stay organized. We are just local people trying to make a living from the earth like our fathers did before us. It’s a slow life but it feels right. We don't have much to say about ourselves other than we work hard.
