Our place is located at Khasra No. 38/5 in the village of Sanpka. It is out in the Tehsil Farrukh Nagar area, so it’s a bit of a drive if you’re coming from the main city. We handle different agro products here, which basically means we are always surrounded by bags and crates of whatever is in season. The village life is quiet for the most part, except when the harvest starts and then it gets really loud with tractors and people moving around. We have a small crew that helps with the sorting and packing. The warehouse isn't the biggest, but we make use of every inch of space we have. Sometimes the power goes out for a few hours in the afternoon, which makes things a bit slower, but we just wait it out or work by the light from the big doors. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team telling us what to do. Most of our business comes from people who have known us for years. They know where Sanpka is and they know how to find the gate. We keep the registers updated by hand mostly. It’s a simple way of doing things but it works for us. The floor gets covered in dust pretty fast, so someone is always walking around with a broom. It is just a normal everyday business trying to get things done without making a big deal out of it.
