You can find us in Farmana Khas, right near the Arya Samaj Mandir in Meham. Being in a village like this means we are right in the middle of everything. Chaubisi Ayurvedic Farmer Producercompany Limited is basically a group of us working with the local farmers. The building is simple, nothing too modern. We spend a lot of time walking over to the temple area or meeting people under the trees to talk about crops. It gets very dusty in Rohtak, especially during the dry months. We have a lot of herbs and ayurvedic plants coming through here. The smell of the warehouse is actually quite nice because of all the natural stuff we handle. We don't have a big marketing team or a fancy website. Most of our business is done through word of mouth and people just stopping by the office. There’s always someone coming in with a question or a sample of what they’ve grown. We have some old ceiling fans that make a lot of clicking noises, but they keep the air moving. Rohtak is a busy area, but our village feels a bit slower, which we like. We try to help the farmers get a fair deal for their work. It's not always easy and there are plenty of long days. We just sit on the plastic chairs, drink our chai, and try to get things sorted for the next day. It is honest work and we like being part of the community.
