Travel Mart

Our place is in Ajit Bhawan, down in the Bahu Bazaar area. It is an older part of town on the old H B Road. You will find us right near the Reliance Fresh, which is quite handy when we need to grab something quick for lunch or some biscuits for the office. Bahu Bazaar is always crowded, especially in the evenings when everyone is out doing their daily vegetable shopping. The building itself, Ajit Bhawan, has been around for a long time and has a lot of character. Inside, we just have a simple office setup. We have got the usual stuff you would expect, like desks, a few old files, and a telephone that rings more than we would like it to. It gets quite noisy outside with the rickshaws and the people shouting, but once you step inside, it is a bit calmer. We spend most of our time looking at different routes and checking prices for people who walk in off the street. A lot of our regulars live right here in the neighborhood. They just drop by to see what is available for their next trip home or a holiday. We do not have any flashy signs or bright lights. Just a small board out front so people know we are there. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it works fine for what we need. It is a practical, honest space for us.
