Hotel Green Horizon

You’ll find Hotel Green Horizon over at the Atindra Complex on G.P. Road. We are specifically in Flat No-2G, which is on the upper floors. It’s a busy part of Barrackpore, and Kol-120 is the area code we use for mail. Being in a complex like Atindra means there’s always something going on around us. We aren't one of those massive glass buildings you see in the city center. We’re more of a local spot that people find when they need a place in this part of town. The stairs can be a bit much if you’re carrying heavy bags, but that’s just how these old buildings are. We’ve been running things from 2G for a while now. G.P. Road is a main stretch, so it’s easy to get transport from here. We don’t really go in for those big advertisements or shiny signs. People usually find out about Hotel Green Horizon through word of mouth or just by passing the complex. It’s a simple arrangement we have. The rooms are what they are, and we try to keep things tidy for whoever stays. Working in Barrackpore is different from the main city of Kolkata; it has its own rhythm. We fit into that rhythm as best we can. Some days are busier than others, especially when there’s a lot of traffic on G.P. Road. We’re just local people managing a local place, nothing more.
