Akash Travel , Ranchi

We’ve been running Akash Travel from this spot near Devi Mandir for a while now. The address says Chhotki Delha Gusalkhana Road, which can be a bit tricky to find if you aren't from around Gaya. Shailesh Kumar stays busy with the paperwork and Jairam Prasad Singh is usually around too. It's a small place, nothing fancy at all. We mostly just deal with people coming in to figure out their trips or asking about bus timings. The road gets pretty crowded during the temple hours, and the dust from the street comes right inside sometimes. We have some plastic chairs for people to sit on while they wait. It’s not a big corporate office with glass walls or anything like that. Just a desk, some registers, and a phone that rings more than it should. Ranchi is mentioned in our name but we are right here in Bihar at this 832002 pin code. Usually, someone is here from morning till late evening. We don’t really have a big sign, but if you find the temple, you’re basically there. It’s just how things are in this part of town. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit and talk with whoever is visiting. It’s a simple setup for a travel business. People stop by to chat even when they aren't going anywhere. We just keep track of things in our notebooks and try to help out with whatever route someone is looking for. It's noisy and simple.
