Being right at Kutchery Chowk means there is never a quiet moment. S K Dwivedi Enterprises is based in Laxmi Complex, and if you are looking for Shop No 1, that is us. We get all sorts of people walking in because the court is right nearby and the whole area is always buzzing with lawyers and people with legal work. It’s a busy spot in Ranchi. We do more than just one thing here, which is why we called it an enterprise, but a lot of what we handle involves travel and getting things organized for people who are in a hurry. The office is small but it works for us. We have been in this complex for a while and the other shopkeepers are like neighbors now. Sometimes the traffic outside gets so loud we have to shout a bit on the phone, but you get used to it. We don't have a fancy website or a big marketing plan. Most of the people who come to us are just locals who know the name or saw the sign while waiting at the traffic light. We just sit at our desks, drink our chai, and get the work done. It’s a plain way of doing business, but it’s honest and it keeps us busy from morning until the evening rush starts to die down. We like being in the middle of everything at the Chowk.
