Prakhandjama Khetihar Producer Company Limited is a local group of farmers from the Dumka area. We are located in Sarsabad, specifically in the Maharo part of town. Our main contact is Ashok Ray. Being based here in Dumka, Jharkhand, we are very familiar with the local land and how the seasons work around here. We aren't a big, fancy corporation. We are just a bunch of people who grow things and decided that we should work together instead of everyone doing their own thing. It makes more sense when you’re trying to buy seeds or move your crops to the market. Our office is just a simple space at Ashok Ray’s in Sarsabad. It’s where we keep our papers and talk about what we’re going to do next. Life in Dumka is mostly about the rhythm of the farm. We don't have time for a lot of marketing talk or corporate polish. We just focus on the soil and what’s growing in it. Sometimes things go well, and sometimes they don't, but being part of this company helps us through the tough patches.
