You can find us over at Lawagain, specifically at Basanti Kumari’s place in Chund Pakar Toli. We’re a group of farmers who decided to team up. It makes sense when you’re all in the same boat. We don’t have a big corporate headquarters. We mostly meet and work right where we live. Farming in Lawagain has its own challenges, so we try to help each other out through this company. We focus on the crops we all grow here. It’s a lot of talking about the soil and the rain. We aren’t trying to impress anyone with big reports. We just keep records of what we produce and where it goes. It’s honest work. Sometimes it’s just a few of us sitting around a table trying to figure out the logistics for the next month. We have a lot of practical experience from years in the fields. That’s our main strength, really. We don’t use a lot of technical jargon. If something works, we do it. If it doesn't, we try something else. It’s a simple way of running things. We are just regular people from Chund Pakar Toli trying to get a better deal for our hard work. It takes time to grow a business like this, but we are patient. We are part of this community and we see each other every day in the village. This company is just our way of working together more officially.
