Chanho Birsa Munda Sangathan Producer Company Limited

Chanho Birsa Munda Sangathan Producer Company Limited is a community group based in Village Huttar. We are located at Sachindra Singh’s place in the Chanho block of Ranchi. We named the company after Birsa Munda because he is a hero to us here in Jharkhand. Most of us in the group are just local farmers who decided that we should work together instead of trying to do everything alone. It makes things easier when it comes to selling our crops or buying seeds in bulk. We meet up at the house in Huttar to discuss what we are going to plant and how the harvest is looking. It is a very informal setup. We don't have suits or big meeting rooms. We usually just sit around and talk while having some tea. The road to the village can be a bit dusty, especially in the dry season, but it is home to us. We care about our land and we want to make sure the farmers in Chanho get a fair deal for their hard work. Being a producer company means we are all in this together. We don't have a big boss telling everyone what to do. Sachindra helps keep things organized, but everyone has a say in how we run things. It is just a group of neighbors helping neighbors really. We are proud of what we grow in these fields.
