Charpokhari Farmer Producer Company Limited

We are set up in Krishna Cottage, which is Nathuni Prasad’s house. Specifically, we are in Room Number 1 on the ground floor. It’s a quiet place in the village of Kinnodihari, near the Nagri post office. We are just a group of farmers who thought it was a good idea to work together. Charpokhari is our home area and we wanted to do something for the people here. We don’t have much in the way of fancy furniture. It is just a desk and some chairs where we sit and talk about what we need for the next season. Working in agriculture is hard, so we try to share the load. We aren't some big city firm. Most of the time, our boots are muddy. We just handle the basics, like getting supplies and figuring out where to sell what we grow. It’s honest work. Sometimes we argue about how to do things, but we always figure it out. Being in Kinnodihari means we are tucked away a bit. But everyone around here knows Nathuni’s place. We keep the doors open when we are there. It’s just us trying to make a living. We don't have any big speeches to give. We just work the land and help each other out when the weather turns bad. It takes a lot of effort to keep things moving but we enjoy it.
