Phoolo Jhano Mahila Farmer Producer Company Limited is located in Dudhani, Dumka. We work out of the Jharkhand State Livelihood Promotion Society building. It’s a busy spot in the 814110 area. This is a group for women farmers from all around the district. We gather here to discuss our work and how to sell what we grow. Dumka is a beautiful place, but the work is heavy. We don't have a lot of time for fancy talk or long breaks. Most of us have kids and homes to look after besides the farming. The society helps us stay organized, but it’s the women who do the real work in the fields. We handle all sorts of produce, mostly whatever is in season. Sometimes the office is crowded with people coming and going. We don't have a polished corporate image. It's more about loud voices and getting things done. We started this because we wanted the women of Dumka to have a say in their own money. It’s not always easy, and sometimes the paperwork is confusing. But we help each other out. We aren't experts, just people who know the land and want to do better. If you come to Dudhani, you’ll see us working hard every day. It’s just our way of life, nothing more and nothing less. We keep pushing forward together, even when things get a bit messy with the rains.
