Northern Coalfields Limited has a presence here in Ranchi, specifically at the Neelanchal Compound. We are located at House Number 35, which is Kothi, care of Keshwar Prasad. This is over in the Piska Mode area. It’s a busy part of the city with lots of movement. The office is inside a compound, so it’s a bit set back from the main noise of the street. It’s a functional space, nothing fancy. We have the usual office furniture and a lot of paperwork related to the coal business. Ranchi is the capital, so there’s always something going on. Jharkhand is known for its mining, and we are just one part of that whole system. The building itself is an older style, solid and simple. We don't have a big lobby or a flashy entrance. You just walk into the compound and find us. The staff here is small but we’ve been around for a long time. We don't spend much time on fancy descriptions or corporate mission statements. We just focus on the logistics and the daily tasks at hand. It can get pretty hectic when there are deadlines, but usually, it's just steady work. We are here most days from morning until evening. It’s a practical setup in a practical part of town.
