We are located in Ranchi at the Bariatu address, specifically care of Mrs V R Khan at the Medicino Medical Hall. It is a bit of a landmark in the area, so people usually find us by looking for the medical shop first. Being situated in or around a pharmacy means there is always a bit of a crowd nearby. The office is tucked away and is not very large. We have a couple of tables and some chairs for visitors. It is a practical arrangement for this part of Jharkhand. We don't have any big corporate signs or fancy lighting. Most of our day is spent handling local queries and keeping our records straight. The sound of the traffic on the Bariatu road is always in the background. We usually have a tea break in the afternoon when things slow down a little. It is a simple life here. We don't use complicated language when we talk to the people who come in. We just explain things as they are. The office has a bit of an old-fashioned feel to it, with wooden shelves and old files stacked up. We like it this way because it feels more personal. Most of the staff are from Ranchi and they know the shortcuts around the city. We just do our work, help whoever walks through the door, and close up in the evening. It is a very standard, honest way of working for us.
