J.D.K.Consultants is based in Dhurwa, Ranchi, right at the Tanki Side area. We’ve been at this spot for a bit now, situated near Dr. P.K. Srivastava’s place. It’s a pretty quiet part of the city, mostly just houses around here, so you don’t have to deal with that heavy traffic noise all day long. Usually, the mornings are our busiest time when we’re getting all the paperwork sorted and organized. We just sit in the office and handle whatever comes through the door. Sometimes the power goes out for a few hours, but that’s just how it is in Jharkhand and we’ve gotten used to it. We have a couple of desks, some old chairs, and the usual office stuff scattered around the room. People from the neighborhood often walk in to ask questions or get some advice. It isn’t a fancy glass building or anything corporate like that. It’s just a regular room where we do our consulting work and keep our files. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or typing things out on the old computer. The ceiling fan makes a bit of a rattling noise in the afternoon heat, but it helps. Lunch is usually something we bring from home, or we grab a quick bite from the stalls nearby. We just keep things moving one day at a time without any big fuss.
