Namkum Agribusiness Producer Company Limited

Namkum Agribusiness Producer Company Limited is based out of the home of Soma Tirkey. He is the son of Baijnath Tirkey. We are located in Garsul, which is near Daho and Sodag in the Tupudana area. This is where we live and where we work. Our office isn't really an office in the way people in the city think of it. It is just a few rooms at Soma’s place where we can keep our things and meet with people. We have farmers coming in from all over the Namkum area. They come to talk about their crops or to see if we have any supplies they need. We don't have a lot of money for fancy things, so we just use what we have. Most of the time is spent on the phone or writing in our books. It gets very busy when the vegetables are ready for market. We have to move quickly to make sure everything stays fresh. The roads around Garsul and Sodag aren't the best, so transport is always a bit of a headache. We don't use any corporate talk or try to sound like we are some big experts. We are just local people who know about farming. We deal with the same problems every year, like the pests and the lack of rain. We just try to help each other out and keep things going. It's a simple life.
