Nagwanshi Farm Private Limited

Out here in Larba village, things move a bit slower than in the city. I’m Pawan Kumar Yadav, and we run Nagwanshi Farm from my place. Simdega is a quiet area, mostly filled with trees and fields as far as you can see. If you are looking for us, you have to ask around for the Kolebira police station first, then head towards Larba. It’s a rural spot, so there are no big signs or bright lights to guide you. Most days, we are out in the dirt or checking on the animals to make sure they are okay. It’s hard work, and my hands are rarely clean. We don’t have a big corporate office with air conditioning or fancy furniture. Instead, we have the shade of the trees and the open air. Sometimes the monsoon rain makes the local roads quite difficult to travel on, but that’s just part of living in this part of Jharkhand. We grow what we can and try to keep the farm healthy and productive. It’s a family-style operation where everyone knows everyone else. We don’t use any fancy marketing jargon here. We just talk about the weather, the soil, and when the next harvest is coming. It’s practical, honest work. When the sun goes down, we head back to the house and get ready to do it all again tomorrow. It’s a simple life, but it keeps us very busy.
