Nagri Agribusiness Producer Company Limited is based out of Suren Minj’s home in Chete Jogi Toli. Suren is the son of Somra Minj, and our family has been in this part of Nagri for a long time. We are close to the Sithiyo area, which is where many of our farmers live. We don't have a big office building or a fancy staff. It is just a house where we keep the grain and the books. Most of our work is done in the courtyard or out in the fields talking to the neighbors. We don't have any computers, so we do all our accounting with pens and paper. It gets very busy during the harvest months when everyone is bringing in their crops at the same time. There is a lot of noise from the tractors and the people talking. We don't have any corporate training or slick marketing materials. We just know the land and the people here. We spend our days checking the produce and making sure everything is bagged properly for the market. The roads in Nagri can be tough, so getting the trucks in and out is always a bit of a challenge. We just take it one day at a time and try to get it all done. If you come by the village, you will probably see Suren or one of the others busy with the scales. We are just a group of local people trying to make things easier for the farmers who live around Sithiyo. It's a lot of work.
