Kisaan Utpadak Producer Company Limited is based out of a place in Ginjo, Thakurgaon. If you are looking for us, we are located at Pratima Devi’s house. This is in the Ranchi district, but it is a bit away from the main city noise and traffic. We are a producer company, which means we work together as a group of local farmers and growers. It is not a high-rise office building. It is just a house in a village where we get together to talk about our crops and the season. We handle the things that come from the land. Life out here in Thakurgaon moves a bit slower than in the city center of Ranchi. We like it that way. We spend our days dealing with seeds, harvests, and the logistics of getting things to market. It is not always easy. Sometimes the rain does not come when we want it to. Other times, the pests are a problem. But we work through it together as a group. There are no polished marketing teams here. We just write things down in notebooks and try to keep track of what everyone is doing. Most of the people involved are just neighbors and friends from the village. We wanted to have a way to organize ourselves better, so we formed this company. It is practical and it works for us.
