We are up on the sixth floor of Jagannath Complex on Circular Road here in Ranchi. It's a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up, which happens sometimes. Right across from us is Mahendra Prasad Womens College, so there are always students around the area. The Institute Of Competitive And Professional Studies isn't fancy. We have desks, some chairs, and whiteboards that get stained over time. It gets noisy when classes change over. Sometimes the traffic outside on Circular Road is quite loud, especially in the afternoons. We've been here for a while now. People know the building easily. Inside, it smells like paper and old markers. We don't have a big reception area or anything like that. It is just a place where people come to study for their exams. Most of the staff here have lived in Ranchi their whole lives. We know the local shops and where to get a decent cup of tea nearby during breaks. The 834001 area is pretty central, so most folks find us okay. We keep the lights on late most evenings. It isn't much to look at from the outside, but it works for what we do. We just focus on the books and the lessons. Sometimes the fans make a clicking noise when they are on full speed. That is just how the place is. We try to keep things organized but it gets messy with all the notes.
