Darbhanga Medical College 1976 Pass Out Batch

We all finished up at Darbhanga Medical College back in 1976 and that seems like a lifetime ago now. Most of us have grey hair or not much hair left at all but the bond is still there. We set this up to keep track of everyone from that specific year. Since some of us ended up at Rims in Ranchi, this has become a bit of a hub for the old batch. It isn’t anything fancy. We just wanted a way to stay in touch and maybe help each other out when someone is passing through Jharkhand. Life gets busy with work and family, and before you know it, forty or fifty years have disappeared. Most of the guys are retired or thinking about it, but we still feel like those young students sometimes. We meet up when we can, usually around the Ranchi area since it's easy for a lot of the group. There’s no big organization behind it, just a few of us making sure the phone numbers are current. We share news about who is doing what and where people moved to. It’s funny how we all started in the same classrooms and ended up all over the place. If you were part of that 1976 group, you know how it was. We are just keeping the memories alive and making sure no one gets lost. It’s good to have these old connections when everything else is changing so fast.
