We are located right at Dangratoli Chk on Purulia Road. It is a very busy junction in Ranchi. Imperial Institute Of Commerce has been here for a good amount of time. The building is right near the main flow of traffic, so it is easy for students to get here by bus or auto. Inside, we have set up the classrooms to be as practical as possible. We have wooden benches and a few whiteboards. There is always a smell of old paper and ink because we handle a lot of accounting books and practice sheets for the students. The windows look out onto the street, so you can see the city moving while you are inside. Sometimes the dust from the road gets in, so we have to wipe down the tables quite often during the day. We have a small cabin for the staff where we keep the records and the computer. It is not a very big place, but we make the most of the space we have. The students often hang out near the entrance before their sessions start. We don't do any big promotions or ads. Most people just walk in because they saw our sign or heard about us from someone in the neighborhood. It is a very straightforward, local way of doing things. We just focus on the daily routine and keeping the classes on track. It is a lot of hard work, but we are used to the pace by now.
