Hotel Yuvraj Palace, Ranchi

We've been here at Plot No 68 for a while now. Navin Mitra Lane is a busy spot in Lalpur. It's a bit tucked away in the Burdhwan Compound, but people find us. It’s just me and a few guys running things at Hotel Yuvraj Palace. We don't have fancy lobbies or anything. The rooms are basic, just what you need if you're stopping by Ranchi for a night. Sometimes the traffic outside gets loud, but that’s just how Lalpur is. We try to keep things clean. Most folks coming here are just looking for a place to sleep without paying too much. I usually sit at the front desk myself. If the light in the hallway is flickering, just tell me and I'll fix it. We don't do much advertising. People usually hear about us from someone else or just walk in off the street. Jharkhand weather gets hot, so the fans are always on. We have a kitchen too, mostly simple food like what you'd eat at home. Nothing complicated. It's just a regular place for regular people. We’ve seen a lot of changes in the neighborhood over the years. New shops opening up, more cars on the road. But we're still here, doing our thing every day. It’s not a five-star place, just a building with beds and a bit of history in the compound. It is a simple life for us here in Ranchi and we like it that way.
