Goddabaha Farmer Producer Company Limited

We are a small collective based in Malmala, and Daymanti Devi, the wife of Netlal Sah, is one of the main people who helps keep us organized. Our group is made up of regular farmers from the local area who just want to do better for our families. Being in Malmala means we are a bit far from the big cities, so we have to rely on each other for almost everything. We decided to form this company to make it official, but at the end of the day, we are still just neighbors. We spend most of our time out in the fields or checking on the crops. There is always something to do, whether it is weeding or preparing the soil for the next round of planting. We don't have a formal office with chairs and desks. We usually just sit outside and talk about what we need to buy or sell. It is a very practical way of doing things. We don't use any marketing talk because we don't really see the point. Everyone around here knows we are just working the land like our fathers did. The weather is our biggest boss, and we just try to follow the seasons as best we can. Sometimes it is stressful when things don't go right, but having the group makes it a little easier to handle. We are just honest people trying to make a go of it in Malmala.
